Sebago Men's collection

It was in 1964 when Daniel J. Wellehan decided to open his own factory in Maine, United States. Sebago-Moc was born, together with William Beaudoin and Joseph Cordeau. They started to produce men’s shoes, especially yachting shoes and loafers, the famous Penny Loafers. A few years later, the brand changed its name to Sebago® and launched the boat shoes Docksides®, which became a trend model among teenagers and university students in the 80s. The high quality of the materials, the craftsmanship, and the classic and timeless design have made it successful. Today, Sebago® items are a must-have to wear every day and on the most formal occasions.

Sebago men’s shoes

In the world of men’s footwear, few brands can claim a history as consistent and long-lasting as Sebago. Founded in 1964 in Maine, along the coast of New England, the brand was born with a clear vocation: to produce shoes capable of keeping pace with the North American landscape — from wooden docks and small sailboats to windswept college campuses — without ever sacrificing aesthetics. It is in this context that Sebago men became synonymous with a specific idea of masculine style: clean, direct, and free from unnecessary ornamentation, built around premium materials and artisanal techniques that stand the test of time. Unlike many brands that chase trends, Sebago has always chosen the opposite path: defining an aesthetic code and preserving it season after season. The result is a pair of luxury men’s shoes that needs no introduction: recognizable at first glance and designed to be worn for years.

Men’s Sebago shoes

Sebago men’s shoes are built around a few fundamental principles: quality leathers, hand craftsmanship where needed, and soles designed to ensure grip and durability. The range available on TheDoubleF spans different categories, from classic loafers to formal shoes, each with its own identity while remaining faithful to the brand’s construction values. For this reason, Sebago shoes for men are not simply seasonal accessories, but pieces designed to become part of a long-lasting wardrobe.

The Milton Gyw derby shoe in black leather represents the most formal option in the Sebago men’s offering: a lace-up with Goodyear welt construction, ensuring repairability and extended lifespan, paired with a polished leather upper and leather sole. It is ideal with a suit, with men’s designer pants in flannel or wool, or even with dark denim for a refined formal-casual contrast. Among men’s Sebago shoes, this model best shows the brand’s ability to go beyond nautical origins while maintaining its construction quality.

Men’s Sebago boat shoes

For those looking for Sebago boat shoes for men with the brand’s original character, the Portland Flesh Out line is a solid choice. Available in blue suede and brown suede, these men’s Sebago boat shoes feature the signature non-slip sole inspired by nautical deck shoes, reinforced stitching, and enhanced comfort for extended wear. The blue suede version is especially versatile, pairing easily with chinos, linen pants in warmer seasons, or denim and a bomber jacket for a more urban look.

Sebago deck shoes for men remain one of the brand’s most recognizable signatures, closely tied to its sailing heritage and the enduring appeal of the Docksides® aesthetic. Designed to offer grip, comfort, and structure, they bring the functional codes of nautical footwear into everyday wear, balancing practicality with a clean, effortless look. Men’s boat shoes Sebago stand out for combining heritage authenticity with contemporary versatility.

Sebago loafers for men

Sebago loafers for men are the core of the brand’s offering, covering a wide range of styles from essential models to more refined interpretations. Men’s Sebago loafers are designed for those seeking footwear with a clear identity: timeless yet never rigid.

The Portland Artisan line reinterprets the classic boat loafer in a more contemporary way. The chestnut brown Portland Artisan and the cork beige Portland Artisan loafer share the same construction — vegetable-tanned leather, hand stitching, and a lightweight rubber sole — but differ in tone: chestnut works well in colder seasons, while cork is ideal for spring and summer. Variants like the curry beige and jungle green add personality while maintaining a clean silhouette.

For a more elegant take, the Dan loafer remains a timeless reference. Available in black and burgundy, it features a slightly elongated shape and a more tailored construction, close in spirit to designer loafers for men. Burgundy stands out for its depth and versatility, pairing naturally with charcoal, navy, and camel.

The selection is completed by the Acadia Premium burgundy loafer, which elevates craftsmanship with premium materials and refined finishing, and the black Ales loafer, offering a more contemporary silhouette while preserving the quality that has defined Sebago for over sixty years.
