Established in 1980 as a women’s prêt-à-porter company by designer and entrepreneur siblings, the brand made its Milan runway debut in 1981. Alberta Ferretti quickly gained recognition for her romantic and harmonious aesthetic: fluid silhouettes, airy textures, intricate lace and embroidery defined a distinctive style that soon became a symbol of Italian elegance on international red carpets. In 2024, she stepped down from her creative role, passing the baton to Lorenzo Serafini. His debut collection, presented in February 2025, projects Alberta Ferretti’s rich heritage into the future, celebrating 45 years of femininity, lightness, and a contemporary vision of romanticism.
