The best looks of the Met Gala 2023 that pay tribute to Karl Lagerfeld

A parade of international stars gathered to celebrate the late designer Karl Lagerfeld: here are the best looks of the red carpet.
The most awaited fashion event of the year was the Met Gala 2023, for the exhibition Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty that pays tribute to the designer who died in 2019 (as well as being an opportunity to raise funds for the Costume Institute).
The wait was worth it because the celebrities paraded on the champagne carpet, along the monumental steps from the Metropolitan Museum. For the occasion, the personalities on the A-list dressed in honor of Karl: but who shone among all? Among the most beautiful looks of this edition of the Met Gala there is definitely Penelope Cruz who has dusted off a vintage ball gown from the Chanel 1988 collection, Rihanna has hidden her pregnancy belly with camellias worked in the tailoring of Valentino, while Olivia Rodrigo opted for a black and white floral bodice.
To celebrate the long work in the fashion house by the 'C' couple, Kim Kardashian dared with a dress made with long rows of white pearls (about 50000 small spheres), while Teyana Taylor showed off a tailored tweed suit that interprets the most classic shape.
Camellia pink and black silk for Jennifer Lopez who opted for a cut-out dress paired with long gloves and fascinator hat (signed Ralph Lauren), while Anne Hathaway paraded with a long dress with maxi slit adorned with pins to finish in cups shaped like a flower, all Atelier Versace.
The event was attended by international celebrities, such as Matteo Berrettini and Carla Bruni, the latter dressed in a black mermaid dress with a long white stole signed by Karl Lagerfeld.
