Men’s designer shoes

Women are not the only ones enchanted by shoes. In fact, more and more men can’t resist the call to wear fashion’s latest shoe trend.

Designer shoes in the 21st century

Now that we are in the midst of the 21st century, men’s shoes have become an object of desire for many fashion addicted. Men’s designer shoes, although different from those shown off by the opposite sex, are likewise capable of completing and bestowing that extra touch to every outfit. The man attentive to his image and aesthetic, used to taking care of every aspect of his look, well knowing that clothing is not the only thing responsible for the success or failure of an outfit. He is aware that accessories also play an important role; matching an on-trend outfit with shoes taken randomly from the closet would be a mistake. There are plenty of men’s designer shoes on the market; therefore there’s no reason to use the same pair in the vain hope that they are a passe-partout suited for every eventuality. Fashion for him, on the other hand, has evolved to a point that even men, like women, potentially have an arsenal of on-trend luxury footwear made by big designer names like Prada, Church’s, Alexander McQueen and Saint Laurent to name a few, with which the final image becomes even more special. The most in vogue of men’s footwear clearly shows that times have changed, and that men’s fashion has evolved in an exponential manner. Men mainly wore moccasins and lace-up shoes, or sporty shoes in a neutral and basic style; now collections are rich with more elaborate and less conventional models. Something really new, for example, are the printed combat boots that have exploded onto the scene over last few seasons: their rock look lends itself well to cropped jeans that fill the wardrobes of young adults. The Derby shoe and other lace-up styles have regained ground. They are so eclectic as to be worn both during the day and the night. Other shoes of great success are ankle boots, designed in many different versions which makes it difficult to choose the most interesting model. Some are basic, others worked in a laser cut styles, others still near to the more traditional designs. What counts the most is, regardless of the look of the sole, the boots have kept intact the charm that accompanies them since the Beatles trod music stages all over the world. Colors represent the most relevant difference between men’s and women’s shoes. Women’s shoes are inevitably a riot of bright colors and color contrasts, while men’s shoes always remain in the territory of neutral colors. The tones used for men’s designer shoes are substantially the most basic ones: black and brown, or beige in all its variants and dark blue, except for some sporadic colored insert to decrease the seriousness of the solid color.

Prada Shoes

Mixing luxury and anti-conformism is certainly what Prada manages to do best. It manifests in the clothing design for him and for her and is strongly confirmed in the creation of new men’s shoes. The collection of men’s footwear designed by Prada perfectly embodies the essence of the brand, capable of bringing out in a single item or accessory both its refined and transgressive side. It’s not a coincidence that their elegant lace-ups are often freely embellished all over with studs inspired by punk style. It’s the decisive proof, if anything, that from the creations designed by Prada, two dramatically opposite styles manage to coexist peacefully without one obscuring the other.

Church’s Shoes

Making a versatile collection of shoes, in which it is possible to find the perfect model for every occasion, is not possible for every brand. Church’s however, manages it very well, maintaining a coherent design built-in to its creations. And this is the secret to their success. All Church’s designer men’s shoes are handcrafted in Northampton, in England, and are manufactured using traditional methods. Every single part of the sole and upper are treated in order to get an extraordinary result. It’s therefore not surprising that this line of shoes suit everyone: from a pair of lace-ups to old-fashioned combat boots with a more modern look, or maybe ankle-boots in a vintage style, resisting these models is not possible.

Alexander McQueen Shoes

Finding a way to define, correctly, the style of Alexander McQueen is not easy. Without a doubt the shoes present an innovative concept of fashion; his shoes are pure avantgarde creations that go beyond the confines of the work of a designer. Alexander McQueen’s men’s designer shoes are in every sense emblematic, because they maintain the philosophy of the outstanding brand founded by the homonymous British designer; footwear that recovers the traditional lines in order to exaggerate them, keeping a high-quality standard. Defining the shoes as unique would be profoundly reductive.

Saint Laurent Shoes

The fact that Saint Laurent has always been synonymous with luxury and elegance is certainly not new. Just as it is not surprising that the clothes and accessories that bear their name are loved by both young and adult fashion addicts. Moreover it could not be otherwise, if you consider that there is nothing in the French house that is left to chance. Saint Laurent’s designer men’s shoes, to be specific, have a bon-ton and vaguely classical style, which makes them a must-have. If we’re talking about a very refined pair of Derby shoes, or even a more informal ankle boot, the lines and upper are always permeated by a timeless elegance that evokes a distant atmosphere and which always finds a way to remain current.
