Launched in 2009, the brand is a contemporary menswear brand that reimagines classic wardrobe staples. The brand is a family business, based in London and run by siblings Giulia Acchiardi, designer, and Aldo Acchiardi who oversees production and distribution. Harris Wharf London creates menswear collections in elegant subdued hues as well as bold brights, using a diverse range of high quality Italian and Japanese fabrics. The brand's outerwear line of coats is at the core of the collection, featuring raw edged and unlined jersey tailoring that offers an effortless reworking of traditional cuts and shapes. Half of the production takes place in Turin, in Giulia and Aldo's grandfather's glove making factory, by a highly skilled Italian workforce, who also create garments for Valentino and Armani, and the other half is produced in England.
