Annecy, French Alps, 1947: George Salomon started to join his father’s business, the François Salomon et fils, which produced ski edges. He was also interested in the development of the same sport as a leisure pursuit. Over the years, the brand created new products for outdoor activities, launching the first orange ski boot SX90 at the end of the 70s. Following the motto “what fascinates me the most is what I’m going to invent tomorrow”, Salomon embraces innovation and expands towards the future of sports. He creates different lines, such as the Adventure range of hiking boots, these for long distance trails, for freestyle skiing, and above all for men’s urban fashion. Combining technical skills with style, comfort, and creativity, today the French brand has become a global reference point.
