Men’s winter fashion 2020: the new trends

Men’s winter fashion 2020: the new trends

The men’s fashion trends fall/winter 2019/20: classics revisited and lots of color

From men’s Pitti Immagine to Paris Fashion Week, then Milan: designers have signaled the latest fashion trends with their runway collections for fall/winter 2019/20. Discover them together with these fashion notes. The men’s fall fashion trends 2020 are marked by the revival of different decades (‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s): classics revisited, colorful prints, wide leg trousers and camouflage print, to name just a few. They all signal a strong aesthetic that captures attention and gives the opportunity to express oneself and one’s and diversity. There are two accessories to point out: chunky sneakers (which return with their unflattering aesthetic) and men’s holdall bags (of sophisticated fashion that appeals to the printout dandy). Discover the new fashion trends for fall/winter 2020 here below.

Men’s sneakers: chunky and futuristic

Vulgar but important aesthetically; these men’s sneakers don’t abandon the runways and you can wear them with a tailored suit. Choose those with a lightweight sole to make walking easier, while the appearance is dominated by colors and technical details. The last trend is more futuristic, in a refined or unconventional design.

From the big screen to the runway: ‘80s prints and clothing

Series Strange Things and the remake of IT are both set in the ‘80s and have tickled the nostalgia of most designers: not only with direct references on t-shirts paying homage to the era, but also the return of soft volumes, billowing puffer jackets and eccentric patterns.

Wide Leg Trousers

Bye bye skinny jeans and chinos. Even trousers widen and soften with time. Expect the return of baggy trousers, that is trousers linked to rap music: straight cut with a low waistband of 5/6 centimeters.

Show off these colored suits

International stars have abandoned the traditional black suit, opting for pink (Jason Momoa & A$AP Rocky). Runways showed off a more intense chromatic palette, tinging jackets and trousers with brown, petroleum green and orange.

Camouflage

Camouflage returns with more creative versions, like orange or fluorescent shades. Wear it in your free time matched with workwear garments.

Nylon Accessories

Leather has been replaced with technological fabrics, protecting all your belongings from the elements. A wink to street style.

Holdall men’s bags, a must

From pouches to holdalls in just a few moments. Super spacious as well as fashionable, this bag has already conquered many trend setters and socialites. Make a good investment, buy yours in leather or waxed leather with a logo.
