'90s fashion was irrevocably visible at the fall winter 2019, runway shows, the iconic black trench coat worn by the character Neo in the 1999 Matrix film also made a return. The outerwear garment has been reinterpreted by designers, but each design remains loyal to the rigor of clean cuts: full skirts, plus jackets, jumpsuits and dresses in total leather. With lots of different ways to interpret the well-known biker jacket, including grunge.
As well as dark leather, an equally fascinating color palette is on offer: semi-glossy leather in amaranth red, forest green, burgundy or biscuit. There are so many variations on the 'leather' look for fall winter 2019, all aimed at finding an aesthetic balance between sensuality, comfort and humor.
