The importance of that study is underscored by the fact that some of the company's first products are still in production today, having become classics cut from durable fabrics like duck cloth (also known as canvas) and denim, ideal for even difficult working conditions. The '90s: From Hip-Hop to streetwear, workwear becomes cool

The 20th century saw the business expand: Carhartt began providing workers with reliable, well-made clothing for various sectors and projects, such as hunting, agriculture, construction, and even military uniforms during World War I and II. It goes without saying that in 1989, the brand celebrated a significant anniversary: a century as a titan of quality workwear.
