Fashion and sustainability go hand in hand and trace arnnew path that leads to the trends of Autumn Winter 2021 2022
Sustainable fashion is well-being and creativity: it looks to the future with sagacity, proposing the latest fashion trends season after season - also for Autumn Winter 2021 2022 - in an ethical way and in full respect for the environment and mankind.
One of the first designers who took this direction is a woman, Stella McCartney: since 2001 she has renounced the use of animal skin, while in 2008 she decided to introduce organic cotton to the catwalks as well. A friend of animals and nature: it is no surprise that the new FW 2021 collection has been revealed with a shoot made of 'plush models', thanks to funny and sweet hats in the shape of a bear.
Prada has also moved on the path of sustainability, passing from theory to practice. In fact, Autumn Winter 2021 2022 is enriched with accessories made of regenerated nylon. The project was strongly supported by Miuccia Prada who did not look for an 'alternative' material but hijacked production by favoring the 'recycled' variant. This has guaranteed the same technical and aesthetic qualities to an iconic product.
Even the world of denim has its own responsible label: Re / Done offers virtuous luxury jeans, thanks to the recycling of the canvas, renewed and cut according to the latest fashion trends. This is why its garments are eco-friendly and loved by the new generations.
If we move further north, reaching Denmark, we find Samsøe & Samsøe: in 1993 two brothers started working in a small jewelry and accessories workshop in one of the Copenhagen districts, today the brand distributes their men's and women's collections, becoming a symbol of Scandinavian simplicity and respect for the environment.
