Fumito Ganryu, a Japanese designer, began his career in 2004 working as a pattern maker for Junya Watanabe, as part of COMME des GARÇONS.
In 2007, Ganryu started his own unisex collection still under COMME des GARÇONS, entitled Ganryu. Ten years later Ganryu left the prestigous design house
to start his own independent, eponymous label, Fumito Ganryu, which made its debut at Pitti Uomo in 2018. The menswear collections are often avant-garde,
using unique silhouettes and proportions to mix streetwear, workwear and high fashion, while constantly exploring the relationship between the body and gender.
Casual and minimalist clothing like shirts, jackets and denim for those wanting an emphasis on versatility.
