As per tradition, in December, Pantone unveiled the color of the year that will follow: well, 2022 will be tinged with Very Peri. It is a particular shade of violet that includes the most intense and saturated notes up to some brighter and more delicate declinations of periwinkle. Seen on the red carpet wearing stars like Lady Gaga, with a decidedly theatrical styling for the preview of House of Gucci, fashion has already proposed it in some spring summer 2022 collections. What they like most is the message that Pantone however wanted to share for the next year: what spiritual color is an invitation to restart and to express oneself even in a creative way.

Bruno Sialelli opened the Lanvin show with a magnificent fluctuating mini dress, while at Valentino the eyes were captured by a long dress with very bright hooded sleeves: modern goddesses with sure-footed steps crossing the city, ready to be admired.
And it is also Very Peri the set of Jil Sander's spring summer 2022 show: walls and carpets create a magical atmosphere, while the iconic look is a white midi dress with a 3D paisley motif made of crystals.
The color combinations to experiment with are proposed by Versace: purple plus orange, purple plus acid green, purple plus fuchsia, all these color pairs are daring to try at least once in a lifetime. Now that color is on trend.
