Sustainable LA label Re/Done was launched in 2014 by Sean Barron and Jamie Mazur. Re/Done remakes vintage Levi's into perfectly fitting modern jeans for women. The brand describe themselves as a "movement",
a movement to restore individuality to luxury fashion, to keep heritage brands relevant and to create sustainable fashion. Each pair of discarded vintage Levi's is sourced from rag houses across the
US and personally selected based on the quality of the indigo shade, frays, pockets and other signs of wear. After the initial wash, the jeans are taken apart at the seams, laid out to a specific
pattern and reconstructed into a new style. The womenswear line includes skinny, straight, boyfriend and high-rise styles. Sustainality is at the heart of Re/Done's manufacture; each pair is made by hand,
part of the product is upcycled, production is limited to a 15 mile radius and they use recycled packaging. Re/Done jeans are distinctly one of a kind and perfectly vintage looking with a modernized fit.
