Korean fashion designer Moon Choi set up her eponymous womenswear label, now based in New York, in 2017 after previously working with 3.1 Phillip Lim upon graduating.
Influeced by her Korean upbringing, Choi's passion for clothing design was born while spending time at her father's office surrounded by typical men's suiting.
For that reason tailoring is central to her designs, which explore a fine balance between weighted masculine cuts and feminine subtleties.
Unique silhouettes that take shape of dresses, coats and skirts are designed to be layered, or worn alone.
Convertibility is built into clothing by way of expert patternmaking and construction skills, giving garments an inherent double life both on and off the hanger.
