Martine Rose launched her eponymous, London based, menswear label in 2007. Early collections were focused primarily on shirts, before expanding into other garment categories.
Each Martine Rose collection demonstrates the brand's ethos of challenging the fashion industry's status quo, such as disregarding the "rules" of how men are supposed to dress.
As a result, Martine Rose t-shirts, sweatshirts and knitwear are fun to wear, give off the codes and messages of our sexuality, political affiliations and music tastes.
Rose was nominated for the prestigious ANDAM prize for emerging designers in 2017 and praised for the numerous ways she has influenced other labels, like Heron Preston and Vetements.
