Businesswoman, influencer, professional model and with an MBA in Finance at the London School of Business, the Moldovan Elvira Jain grew up in a family of renowned scientists and now lives in Dubai. MID-SEASONS - What to wear in order to feel comfy and suitable in the Autumn and Spring season?
I truly believe that everything that makes us feel happy and good in wearing it is comfortable. For Spring and Autumn, I like oversized cargo trousers matched with a top and a slim fit blazer. Thumbs up to neon sandals and bag to be matched with extra jewels, let’s dare.
SHORT DUVETS - Which to choose and how to wear them.
My favorite are the Prada’s short duvets, a must to have that you can wear for a long time as the fabrics are high qualities and the shapes are iconic. They are a key piece in my wardrobe as I match them with everything… From wide leg trousers to skinny jeans, passing by short skirts and long dresses.
CYCLING PANTS - How to wear them to enhance one’s silhouette.
I like to wear them with a super slim fit top and an oversized jacket or blazer. As shoes you can be very versatile, it can be a cool pair of sneakers or combat boots, but also high heel sandals. Put a baseball cap to create a sporty-chic outfit.
BRIGHT COLORS - Which ones to choose and how to match them.
I’d choose all of them, bright colors add some neon shades to your wardrobe. Pink, yellow, green, orange… dare by matching them together. A total pink look with yellow bag and shoes, or also a green total look with orange bag and shoes.
ACCESSORIES - Must-have bags the wardrobe cannot miss.
My favorites are the Valentino Garavani Roman Stud bag, the Prada Cleo bag and The Attico 24/h bag. But I also love the Amina Muaddi super Amini Pernille and the Loewe Hammock bag.
COMBAT-BOOTS - How to increase their femininity.
The secret is to wear them with a dress! It can be a short dress with architectural and sculptural silhouette but also a fitted dress with a slit on one leg.
WHITE TROUSERS for the Fall Winter 2022 2023 - Yes or no and how to wear them.
Yes, to white trousers every season. During Winter, you can easily match them with a pale color duvet and a light color also for the accessories. I like wearing them with a neutral palette.
FASHION DUBAI/MILAN – What are the differences you’ve noticed between these cities’ trends & lifestyle?
In my opinion Milan has a younger vibe and more trendy “fashion“ while Dubai is more conservative, more elegant but sometimes it’s a little bit exaggerated. People think that the more brands you wear in the same outfit, the better it is.
At the same time, another main difference is luxury. Dubai is all about brands, gold, jewelry and “more is better“. So, if you wear full high luxury brands, expensive jewelry and clothes it kind of gives you power, and people judge you according to what you wear. Meanwhile in Milan people will look more at what you represent as a person even if you don’t show expensive looks off.
BUSINESSWOMAN SUITCASE – What is something that cannot be missed in your case when you travel for work?
When I travel for work, I cannot miss an elegant suit! The Gucci suits are so impressive!
COMFY OUTFIT – What is your favorite?
My favorite outfit would be a relaxed one (maybe a pair of high waist elegant shorts with a blouse or a t-shirt in summer and a sporty suit for Autumn/Winter) matched with a pair of trendy, colorful sneakers.

You’re an ambitious model, a woman with a successful career. What are your projects and achievements outside the fashion industry?
Outside the fashion industry I am a wife and a mom, as well as I am working on a project of opening a beauty clinic. It takes time, not an easy process but I will open it soon.
