2000s fashion is definitely back

We anticipate this Fall one of the spring summer 2022 trends: the Y2K, that is the year dedicated to the fashion year 2000. An explosion of color and motifs, of sequins and glitters, low-waisted trousers and dizzy miniskirts, often worn with micro cardigans and tops without forgetting the thick belt. Different elements and styles combined to create a “Coyote Ugly” outfit. This revival doesn’t even save menswear fashion. The runways showed us low-waisted jeans with the plaid shirt and short quilted down-jackets.
Designers took back interest for those times, erupted among pop stars and the Gen-Z that want to share new trends by living back some deep déjà-vu for those who have been young in the 2000s. How many times have you been saying to yourself lately, 'I had those jeans when I was in high school and that jacket when I was in college'.
