The historical and revolutionary men’s footwear brand was created in Isère in 1927 by founder Rémy Richard, who was also the inventor of the notched soles for mountain shoes, which is why rubber represents Paraboot’s DNA. From the production of sturdy but comfortable shoes designed for workers, the brand develops a technical and performing shoe for many sports, from skiing to horse riding. In the 1980s the brand took on a more urban management, adapting to the evolution of Italian men's fashion that required heavy shoes to complete an elegant but casual style with tweed jackets, velvet trousers and turtlenecks.
